Golf handicap is a calculating system of a player’s ability. Golf handicap calculates the player’s net (gross) score and the number of strokes played by the Golf players. The Golf clubs and National golf association members monitor and administrate the Golf Handicap. The Player score is determined by subtracting the handicap from the gross score. The net scores of the golf are compared with the each player and the lowest scorer is called the Winner of the Game. National Golf association calls it “Scratch golfer” whose handicap is Zero. Handicap rules differ from country to country.

There are many beginner players of the golf that play the game of golf on the regular basis. Every player, who plays the game of the golf, has a unique handicap. Some players have very nice golf handicaps, but some has bad handicaps. A good handicap has been defined as the numerical measures of the golf playing ability of any player. The handicaps are used especially in the grounds of the golf tournaments. The smaller golf handicaps are better to play golf game than the other big handicaps. In fact, the golf handicap is a numerical measurement of a recreational skill of any golfer to play golf over the eighteen holes. There are two major formulas that are used in the game of the golf. These formulas include match play formula and stroke play formula. Stroke play formula is an individual way of playing a game of golf against the par of the course. The stroke formula of playing the golf game is very simple, and has sum of strokes that a player shoots over the 18 holes, and also compares it to the par bars. The match play formula is a game, in which two players play to defeat each other. In the other words, in this gaming formula, your scores per hole always depend on the scores of the other player.

The golf handicaps are more comprehensive and complicated. The golf handicaps can be adjusted for the course difficulties. For example, the handicaps of Swiss company contain the difficulty of the course by taking into the consideration factors like number of bunkers, width of the fairways, length of the course, slope of the greens and so on. The golf handicap systems are used especially in the major tournaments and championships of the professional golf. The skilled and professional players of the golf often score numerous strokes underneath par for the round, and then have a golf handicap of score 0 by deducting 0 from their scores.
